Over a year since covid, what have we been up to?
We have been reflecting on the year that has been, and what a game changer it has been for us all!
With the reality of Covid entering our lives we were worried how things would pan out, drought was already affecting the local farmers, and in turn our industry as well. Thankfully we we all came out through ok and our customers proved to us what an amazing support they would be! You all flooded in to see us, keeping us busy right through to Christmas. Leaving us so thankful, and incredibly blown away!
With this influx in work Alan has joined our team and he will be focusing on sales, Alan will also help Rick in the workshop from time to time when the shop is a little slower.
We also hired a new office lady to help Francine two days a week. Kim has joined our team and will be in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This has enabled us to give even better service to our customers and to communicate with you a little more on Facebook and Instagram!
We have also started emailing you more and plan to keep in contact with Monthly Specials and small giveaways/bonuses in our emails as well, so make sure you read them!
Sales have been impacted all through the country with so many items on back order, and we thank you for your patience in getting your units out to you, this looks to be an ongoing problem as everyone struggles globally with supply, freight companies and employee levels etc.
On a more personal level, we all learned to value family more, grab those long weekends away and visit our own country a little more, appreciate what is in our backyard!
We still managed to support our local community, giving to Hawkes Bay Karting, Ebbet Park School, Heretaunga Intermediate, Glenny Racing, The Acorn Project and Plunket through services offered to the Raureka KidStart Centre fundraiser.
